Direct Support Professional- Part-Time, Every Other Weekend

Location: Princess Anne, Crisfield, Salisbury, Westover 

Part-time every other weekend. $20/hr.

 

Duties and responsibilities: Support adults with developmental and physical disabilities by helping them access community, educational, recreational, and employment opportunities. Assist with daily living activities, personal care, meal preparation, transportation, and medication administration under nursing guidance. Promote independence, dignity, and safety while supporting individualized goals. Maintain accurate records, communicate effectively, and participate in staff meetings and training.

 

-Qualifications: High School Diploma, One year experience assisting individuals with developmental disabilities preferred. Valid Driver's License. Meets agency vehicle insurance standards. Obtain training certifications in required timeframe. Ability to pass a background check and fingerprinting check. Must be able to use a variety of medical equipment such as wheel chairs, raised toilet seat etc.

1st interview- Human Resources

2nd interview- Scheduling manager (same day as 1st interview)

3rd interview- You will be meeting at one of our residential locations- please note, this can only be done around 3-4pm M-F (day varies based on which residential location) If you cannot attend this last portion, you will not be able to continue the hiring process. (this is not done the same day as the 1st and 2nd interview but typically the week after)

*New hires will also be required to have finger printing done prior to starting Orientation. Employees are responsible for payment - information regarding this will be sent out after all 3 interviews are completed*
