About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized support and care to individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and meal preparation.
• Implement individualized care plans and monitor progress towards goals.
• Promote social skills and community engagement through various activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and incidents.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Uphold a safe and respectful environment for all clients.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
• Previous experience in direct support or caregiving roles is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Compassionate and patient demeanor with a commitment to client welfare.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Background check clearance required.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client locations.
