    Description

    Director, Clinical Operations Boston

    We are working on behalf of our client to find a Director of Clinical Operations based in Boston. This leadership role involves managing oncology trials, overseeing day-to-day operations, and working closely with both internal teams and external partners in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee clinical trial timelines, risks, and challenges, ensuring accurate and timely delivery
    • Lead cross-functional collaboration to support clinical trial objectives
    • Manage trials from start-up through close-out, ensuring all deliverables are on time and within budget
    • Supervise external partners (CROs) and vendors, addressing issues as they arise
    • Handle contracts, budgets, and trial agreements, ensuring operational excellence
    • Mentor and support junior staff as they grow

    Requirements:

    • BA/BS in nursing, biology, or related field (advanced degree preferred)
    • 12+ years in clinical research operations, with at least 2 years in oncology
    • Early phase experience, including IND submissions
    • Strong vendor and project management skills
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills
    • Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines and MS Office proficiency
    • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
