Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Indiana University Health leadership team in the role of Director of Clinical Talent Pipelines.

    The Director of Clinical Talent Pipelines leads the development, implementation, and optimization of enterprise-wide strategies that create sustainable pathways into clinical careers at IU Health. This leader is responsible for designing and managing talent pipeline programs that engage individuals across the workforce continuum, from pipelines to practice, including college learners to career changers and early-career professionals. This Director collaborates with healthcare operations, community organizations, workforce agencies, and internal stakeholders to strengthen recruitment pipelines for critical clinical occupations. This leader ensures workforce development investments align with organizational workforce priorities and contribute to a reliable, competent, and future-ready clinical workforce.

    Key Relationships

    Reports to: Vice President-Clinical Workforce Development

    Candidate Qualifications

    Candidates for the position will be evaluated according to the following criteria and competencies.

    • Master's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Public Health, Organizational Leadership, or a related field is required.
    • Requires 8 plus years of relevant experience.
    • Requires 4 years of people leader experience.
    • Requires progressive leadership experience in workforce development, talent acquisition, education, healthcare operations, or related areas.
    • Requires experience developing workforce pipelines and strategic partnerships.
    • Requires experience leading enterprise-wide programs and initiatives.
    • Requires experience within a healthcare system or academic health center.
    • Experience managing workforce grants and public funding opportunities is preferred.
    • Knowledge of healthcare workforce trends and labor market dynamics is preferred.
