Job Summary

The Director, Brand + Creative leads Lake Trust Credit Union''s brand vision and creative strategy at an enterprise level. This senior leader is accountable for developing, stewarding, and continuously evolving a compelling, purpose-driven brand story that differentiates Lake Trust in the marketplace and deepens its connection with members and communities.

Reporting to senior M+B leadership, the Director oversees the full Brand + Creative function. This includes an internal creative team, agency and vendor partners, and cross-functional brand initiatives and serves as the organization''s foremost brand champion and strategy steward. The Director translates business strategy into bold creative direction, setting the standard for brand excellence across all touchpoints: digital, media, out-of-home, social, content, and beyond.

The Director plays a pivotal role in building brand aligned to the organizations strategic objectives and delivering increased brand awareness, membership growth, deepening loyalty, and reinforcing the credit union''s vision of a World in Which Everyone Thrives. As a senior-level leader, the Director brings a blend of strategic foresight, creative excellence, operational rigor, and inspirational people leadership to advance the brand and the organization.

What You'll Do

• Provide leadership and coaching to team, in ensuring quality member service, active sales efforts, and goal attainment.
• Develop and implement improvement plans to maintain and improve staff skills and knowledge for a high quality member experience.
• Demonstrate outstanding communication skills when providing professional responses to complex and/or sensitive service issues.
• Think creatively and use sound judgment when investigating and resolving service matters, while striving to obtain an unbiased resolution and assure a high degree of member satisfaction.
• Provide direction on all operational aspects of the department including audit procedures.
• Utilize exceptional business awareness when developing, implementing, maintaining, and revising operating procedures.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor''s Degree in Design, Creative Writing, Marketing, Communications, or a related field required; Master''s degree and/or advanced certification preferred.
• Minimum 12 years of progressive creative experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role overseeing a creative team.
• Demonstrated success leading brand strategy and creative functions at an enterprise or complex organizational level.
• Financial services or mission-driven organization experience preferred.
• Proven track record building and evolving brand platforms and managing internal and external brand standards.
