Position Summary:
This position is responsible for overseeing the financial accounting and reporting process for the Company's financial statements prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP and statutory accounting principles (SAP); filing all of the Company's reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly, annual) with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) and federal and state insurance regulators (CMS, WVOIC, ODI, BMS); and manging the internal processes and controls supporting the financial statement close process and all reporting requirements. This position will be responsible for preparing and reviewing journal entries and account reconciliations. It will also be responsible for ad-hoc reporting and analysis requested by the Chief Financial Officer and other members of senior management. This position will also oversee the annual financial statement audit and the rate filing processes for the Company's various lines of business.
