    Education and Coaching

    • Develops and delivers an acquisition curriculum through lunch-and-learn sessions, field workshops, masterminds, and moderated panels at Family Reunion, MegaCamp, and regional events. All materials are reviewed by Keller Williams Legal and carry the standard Keller Williams training disclaimer.
    • Guides Market Center leaders through each stage of a typical acquisition, from initial conversation through closing and integration.
    • Coaches leaders through a process-level evaluation of each opportunity, including the questions to ask the seller, the information to request, the ways an independent brokerage or team may join Keller Williams, and the published approval requirements for ownership and transfers. Leaders decide independently whether to proceed and when to engage advisors.
    • Provides leaders with approved materials on the Keller Williams value proposition, including profit share, and engages Keller Williams Finance before any offer is made. Keller Williams Finance alone determines financing eligibility and terms.

    Advisor Directory and Sourcing

    • Maintains a non-exclusive directory of independent valuation, legal, accounting, and lending professionals who meet published, objective criteria, and provides more than one referral on request. Market Centers select, engage, and compensate their own advisors. Inclusion in the directory is never conditioned on any payment, sponsorship, or referral fee.
    • Coordinates sourcing with the Divisional Leaders of Growth & Attraction and Growth Operations, who carry the primary relationships with Market Centers, and builds the Director's own sourcing network over time.
    • Manages relationships with third-party sourcing partners and transaction intermediaries, includes them in educational events, and shares opportunities with Market Centers under a written protocol approved by Keller Williams Legal.

    Pipeline and Program Management

    • Maintains the system-wide acquisition pipeline as the single record for all sourcing channels, recording each opportunity, the interested Market Center, its stage, and next steps, and keeps each Market Center's information confidential from the others.
    • Monitors each opportunity through closing and connects the acquiring Market Center with Growth Operations, Growth & Attraction leadership, and Keller Williams coaching resources for integration.
    • Identifies recurring obstacles to acquisition, such as unclear approval steps, late financing conversations, and limited access to advisors, and works with Keller Williams Legal, Franchise Systems, and Finance to resolve them. Reports program activity to the Chief Revenue Officer.

Scope of the Role: This is an educational and advisory-support role. Market Centers engage their own legal, valuation, and financial advisors, and Market Center owners make the acquisition decisions.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in mergers and acquisitions, corporate development, business brokerage, transaction advisory, or franchise development
    • Thorough understanding of residential brokerage and real estate team economics, including agent count, production, commission splits, and agent retention
    • Working knowledge of how valuations, due diligence, and transaction documents are prepared, sufficient to teach the process and to recognize when professional advisors are required
    • Demonstrated ability to teach and build relationships, explaining complex subjects clearly to business owners, advisors, and intermediaries
    • Sound judgment regarding the appropriate limits of a franchisor's role in a franchisee's transaction
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
