Director of Finance/CFO

A healthcare organization operating nursing homes and drug rehabilitation centers is seeking an experienced Director of Finance / CFO to lead its financial operations.

This is a high-level, strategic position focused more on financial leadership, planning, analysis, and decision-making than day-to-day clerical accounting. The Director of Finance / CFO will work closely with leadership to oversee the financial health of the organization, strengthen financial controls, and provide insight that supports growth and operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the overall financial strategy and financial operations of the organization.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance across healthcare operations.
• Provide leadership with financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Develop and maintain strong financial controls and processes.
• Analyze costs, profitability, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support long-term planning, growth initiatives, and major financial decisions.
• Ensure appropriate financial and accounting practices across the organization.
• Work closely with senior leadership on business and operational strategy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting and finance experience required.
• Healthcare accounting/finance experience required.
• Strong senior-level financial leadership experience.
• Experience with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong understanding of healthcare financial operations.
• Strategic and analytical mindset with the ability to see beyond day-to-day accounting functions.
• Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work closely with executive leadership and provide actionable financial guidance.

Location: Greater Monsey, NY

Type: Full time, in office

Salary: $150,000–$250,000
