Executive TeamPosition Summary
The Director for Human Resources plans, leads, directs, develops, and coordinates Northern New Mexico College’s (NNMC) policies, procedures, processes, and activities for the Human Resource (HR) department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the college's mission. This position is responsible for functions including, but not limited, to policies and procedures, recruitment and selection, job descriptions, employment contracts, personnel records, classification and compensation, benefits, payroll, leave, employee and labor relations, disciplinary matters, disputes and investigations, performance and talent management, productivity, recognition and morale, occupational health and safety, and training and development. This position serves as the institution’s Equal Employment Officer. The incumbent supervises human resources staff. This position reports to the President.Duties & Responsibilities
