Position Title: Director of Nursing
Location: Albuquerque, NM 87112
Duration: 9 Weeks (Possible Extension)
Work Schedule: Days, 5x8-Hour Shifts (8:30 AM 4:30 PM)
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:- Direct and oversee all nursing operations and clinical services within the facility.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, CMS, and facility regulations and standards.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
- Develop staffing plans, schedule, and ensure appropriate nursing coverage.
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and facility leadership to optimize resident outcomes.
- Monitor quality assurance, infection prevention, risk management, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Oversee resident assessments, care planning, documentation, and regulatory surveys.
To be considered for this position, you should have: [Skills, Education, or Experience]- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (West Virginia or Compact License, if applicable).
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare administration preferred (master's degree preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 1 year of leadership or management experience in a healthcare setting, preferably Long-Term Care (LTC), Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation, or Post-Acute Care.
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state survey process, and long-term care operations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic healthcare documentation systems.
- Ability to effectively lead interdisciplinary teams while ensuring exceptional resident care.
