Overview

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations at a skilled nursing facility in Lexington, KY. This role is ideal for a proven nursing leader who understands how to drive quality care, maintain compliance, and build strong teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all nursing operations within the facility
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
• Maintain survey readiness and manage audits/inspections
• Collaborate with administration on clinical and operational goals
• Monitor quality measures, infection control, and patient outcomes
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and clinical workflows

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Kentucky (REQUIRED)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing Facility (REQUIRED)
• Strong knowledge of SNF regulations, survey process, and compliance standards
• Proven leadership experience managing nursing teams
• Ability to drive accountability while maintaining a positive team culture
