Director of Nursing (DON) –Skilled Nursing Facility | Up to $125K
Location: Ithaca, NY
Salary: $115, 000–$125, 000 annually + Comprehensive Benefits Package
We’re hiring an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead clinical operations at a skilled nursing facility in Ithaca, NY!

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure high-quality resident care.
Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff.
Maintain compliance with NYS DOH, federal regulations, and facility standards.
Oversee clinical documentation, care planning, and quality improvement initiatives.
Support staffing, hiring, training, and regulatory surveys.
Collaborate with facility leadership to improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

Requirements

Active New York State RN license.
Minimum 3 years of experience in skilled nursing or long-term care.
Previous nursing leadership, supervisory, or management experience.
Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and clinical operations.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
