Job Description

Lead and oversee operations across multiple projects, regions, or business units. Develop and implement operational strategies that support company growth and profitability goals. Provide mentorship and leadership to Operations Managers, Project Executives, Superintendents, and Project Managers. Drive accountability for project performance, safety, quality, scheduling, and financial outcomes. Monitor project portfolios and proactively address operational risks and challenges. Collaborate with executive leadership on workforce planning, market expansion, and business initiatives. Review project financials, forecasts, budgets, and key performance metrics. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners. Champion continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and best practices. Support recruiting, succession planning, and leadership development efforts. Ensure compliance with company standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures. Foster a culture focused on teamwork, performance, and exceptional client service.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within the construction industry. Proven success managing large-scale commercial, industrial, concrete, or self-perform construction operations. Strong financial acumen with experience overseeing project portfolios, budgets, and P&L performance. Demonstrated ability to build, mentor, and develop high-performing teams. Exceptional communication, relationship management, and leadership skills. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and operational execution. Experience driving process improvement and organizational growth initiatives. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, safety, and quality control. Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Willingness to travel as needed to support operations and business objectives.
