    Position Summary
    The Director of Operations is responsible for leading and managing the organization's day-to-day operations to ensure operational excellence, efficiency, profitability, and alignment with strategic objectives. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), this position provides leadership and oversight to six division managers and is accountable for driving organizational performance, standardizing processes, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring exceptional customer and employee experiences.
    The Director of Operations serves as a key member of the leadership team and acts as a strategic partner to the CEO in implementing company initiatives, achieving business goals, and supporting sustainable growth.

    • Claims Manager (Claims, Configuration, Customer Service, Audits)
    • Contract and Regulatory Manager (Account Management, HIPPA compliance)

    • Data/Analytics Manager

    Essential Responsibilities
    Operational Leadership
    • Direct and oversee daily operations across all assigned divisions.
    • Provides oversight to all project management areas, including IT operations and development, audit compliance, division implementations, bid opportunities and response materials, client onboarding, etc.
    • Develop and implement operational strategies that support organizational goals and growth initiatives.
    • Establish and maintain consistent operating standards, policies, and procedures throughout the organization.
    • Monitor operational performance and implement improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, and quality.
    Team Leadership and Management
    • Address operational challenges through effective problem-solving and decision-making.
    • Evaluate direct report staff according to performance management policies, including bi-annual formal evaluations, one-on-one meetings and division meetings.
    • Ensure division managers comply with performance management policies within their divisions if applicable.
    Strategic Planning
    • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute strategic plans and organizational initiatives.
    • Translate company objectives into actionable operational plans.
    Process Improvement and Compliance
    • Evaluate business processes and implement best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and industry standards.
    Communication and Stakeholder Management
    • Serve as a liaison between the CEO and division leadership teams.
    • Promote effective communication across all levels of the organization.
    • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support operational objectives.
    • Provide regular updates, reports, and recommendations to the CEO.

    Qualifications
    Preferred Education
    • Master's degree preferred or a combination of degree and experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Organizational Leadership, Healthcare Management, Managed Care, or related field.  Experience at the same or comparable level as Director of Operations may be considered as a degree substitute.
    Experience
    • Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience in operations or healthcare management.
    • Minimum of 3 years managing leaders or multi-department/division operations.
    • Demonstrated success leading teams, managing budgets, and implementing operational improvements.
    • Experience working directly with executive leadership.

    Work Environment
    This position operates in a home office professional environment and will require regular attendance at the south Denver office.  There may also be intermittent travel between customer sites, or other business opportunities.
    Executive Position Overview
    The Director of Operations is the CEO's primary operational leader, responsible for ensuring that all divisions operate efficiently, consistently, and strategically. This role balances day-to-day operational oversight with long-term planning, creating the infrastructure, accountability, and leadership necessary to achieve organizational success.

    Salary Range: $130,000.00 to $150,000.00 Annually, dependent on experience
