    Job Description

For over 50 years, DMP has been building trusted security technology that helps protect people, businesses, and communities. We're looking for an experienced Director of Program Management to help us bring the next generation of products and features to market.

This is a high-impact leadership role. You'll own the journey from product approval through market release, bringing teams across Hardware Engineering, RF Engineering, Hardware Programming, Software Engineering, Manufacturing, and other departments together around one plan, one schedule, and one successful launch.

    What You'll Do

    • Lead complex, cross-functional programs from approval through product launch.
    • Create and maintain an integrated program plan and schedule across engineering, software, RF, manufacturing, and other teams.
    • Keep teams aligned and accountable to milestones, commitments, budgets, and release goals.
    • Identify dependencies, risks, and roadblocks early and drive them toward resolution.
    • Partner with department leaders to define scope, milestones, resources, and launch requirements.
    • Bring the right delivery approach to each project, combining Agile practices with the timelines and requirements of hardware, RF, certification, and manufacturing.
    • Provide clear, timely program updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
    • Coordinate launch readiness across Marketing, Sales, Training, Technical Support, and Production.
    • Establish program management standards, tools, metrics, and reporting across DMP.
    • Manage outside partners and vendors supporting program delivery.
    • Track budgets and resource needs in partnership with department leaders.
    • Build and lead the program management team as the function grows.
    • Hire, develop, coach, and evaluate team members in partnership with Human Resources.
    • Observe and adhere to DMP's classification standard.

    What You Bring

    • 10+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs.
    • A strong track record of delivering programs on time and within budget.
    • Experience establishing program management standards, governance, or a PMO.
    • Working knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.
    • Experience bringing hardware and software together is strongly preferred.
    • Experience in security, life safety, electronics manufacturing, or a related industry is a plus.
    • PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or similar certification is preferred.
    • Strong leadership skills and the ability to influence teams without relying solely on authority.
    • Excellent analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.
    • The ability to build strong relationships and work effectively across departments.
    • Sound judgment and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • A collaborative mindset and willingness to give and receive constructive feedback.
    • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the ability to succeed in this role.

    Why Join DMP

You'll have the opportunity to shape how DMP develops and launches products, improve the way teams work together, and help deliver technology that customers can count on.

If you're someone who can see the big picture, keep teams moving forward, identify problems before they become roadblocks, and confidently lead across departments, we'd love to hear from you.
