We are seeking an experienced Safety Manager to lead and oversee all safety-related initiatives across the organization. This individual will be responsible for developing and maintaining a strong safety culture while ensuring full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role supporting a large hourly workforce.

Fully onsite
Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Individual contributor (no direct reports)
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with regulatory requirements
Promote and enforce safety standards across all levels of the organization
Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify and mitigate hazards
Lead safety training initiatives, including onboarding, ongoing education, and emergency response procedures
Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions
Maintain accurate safety records and track key performance metrics
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in safety practices
Ensure proper maintenance, inspection, and safe operation of equipment and workplace environments
Monitor compliance with all applicable safety laws and regulations
Must-Have Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Occupational Health, or a related field (preferred)
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in safety management or a related role
Experience supporting a large hourly workforce
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards (federal, state, and local)
Experience conducting accident investigations and writing detailed reports
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management systems
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings
Preferred Qualifications
Professional safety certifications (e.g., OSHA, First Aid, CPR)
