Red Cap Plumbing, Electrical, and Air is looking for a high-performing Director of Sales ot lead and scale our HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical sales organization.

 

This is a key leadership role responsible for driving sales performance, developing our sales leaders and team, and creating a consistent, repeatable sales process across the company. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, results-driven, and passionate about building a sales organization that can support significant growth.

Responsibilities:

What Will I Do?

 

• Own overall sales performance across HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical.
• Lead, coach, and develop sales managers and salespeople.
• Build and implement a consistent, company-wide sales process.
• Establish clear sales KPIs, goals, and accountability standards.
• Analyze and improve conversion rates, average ticket, lead utilization, financing, and sales productivity.
• Manage sales forecasting and performance reporting.
• Recruit, train, and retain top sales talent.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and profitability.
• Develop sales managers into strong leaders who can effectively manage and grow their teams.
• Partner with operations and executive leadership to ensure sales and operational goals are aligned.
• Protect the customer experience and ensure sales practices support long-term customer relationships and company reputation.

Qualifications:

Do I Have What It Takes?

 

• Proven leadership experience within residential HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, or a similar home-services environment.
• Experience leading sales within a highly profitable organization preferred.
• Strong understanding of sales metrics, financial performance, and forecasting.
• Demonstrated success developing salespeople and sales managers, not just closing deals personally.
• Experience recruiting, training, coaching, and holding sales teams accountable.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A competitive, driven, and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
