JOB SUMMARY:
The Director, Pediatrics is responsible for constantly improving the quality and operational efficiencies of pediatric care across Chase Brexton sites. This includes providing clinical guidance and contributing to interdisciplinary endeavors with nursing teams, population health staff, and information technology teams.
The Director, Pediatrics will be a resource for all Chase Brexton providers to deliver evidence-based, culturally sensitive care for children and adolescents. Further, that individual will provide direct supervision to staff pediatricians.
As a member of Chase Brexton's medical leadership team, the Director, Pediatrics will assist the Chief Medical Officer in developing and implementing pediatric care protocols to promote clinical excellence, productivity, and equity. The Director, Pediatrics will demonstrate a keen understanding of the national and local landscape of child health, serving as a clinical liaison to pertinent regulatory agencies, accreditation bodies, and professional associations. The Director, Pediatrics will work with Population Health teams to interpret health statistics and other data regarding children cared for by Chase Brexton. The Director, Pediatrics will support the recruitment and professional development of pediatric care providers.
