Overview of the Position:

Responsibilities include the oversight and management of the Program team and the execution and success of all VMI, B2P, Kitting opportunities as well as the SLEP program. Responsible for the strategy, sourcing, and bid proposals driving new business growth of programs segment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Daily management and engagement of program team by providing coaching and direction on performance evaluations, goals, hiring and disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Develop and manage team goals and initiatives. Provides direction and leadership in development of the strategic plan.
  • Develop and drive Program-based sales and gross margin budgets and objectives.
  • Monitor the market and competitor products and activities and provide detailed Program-based sales forecasting.
  • Review customer activity, anticipate customer needs, and drive customer satisfaction scorecard metrics.
  • Establish and maintain key Program-based customer relationships.
  • Direct and carry out program development from beginning to end.
  • Where required, coordinate with Senior Management to assure resources are adequate and effective in the execution of program objectives.
  • Handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) for assigned accounts as required.
  • Handle Federal Contract Information (FCI) as required.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Experiencing working and selling directly to the US government required. USAF preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment to achieve business objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive process improvement.
  • Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market.
  • Exceptional strategic planning, organizational, and creative thinking skills.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Strong database, spreadsheet, analytical and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of aerospace regulatory compliance (ITAR)
