Our client is seeking a Director of Rehab Research for the Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) Division for a full-time permanent, direct-hire executive position in Houston, TX 77030. The role is executive level. Reporting to a specific on-site location is not required, but the Director must be able to service a general area. Travel of up to 20% is required. One vacancy is open. The position calls for a medical or doctoral degree, federal grant development experience, and seven years of administrative experience as a program director, department head, and/or principal investigator.

Must-Have

• Medical Doctorate (MD) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)
• Federal grant development and funding strategy experience
• Seven years of previous administrative experience as a program director, department head, and/or principal investigator
• Research design, data analysis, and scientific peer publications
• Scientific program and portfolio management experience
• Travel up to 20% of the time
