Director (RN) Surgical Services

A hospital in Missoula, MT is seeking a senior-level Director (RN) of Surgical Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for its surgical services department. This is an on-site, in-person leadership role requiring relocation to the Missoula area, with partial relocation assistance available.

The role. The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for the overall management, direction, and coordination of surgical services operations. This includes overseeing clinical staff, ensuring quality patient care standards, and driving operational and performance initiatives across the surgical services division. The position requires a seasoned nursing leader with a strong surgical background and the ability to guide teams at both the clinical and administrative levels.

What we're looking for.

• Current (or eligible) Montana RN license required.
• Five years of experience as a Surgical Services RN and as a leader at the Manager or Director level.
• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Advanced degree (MSN, Healthcare Administration, or MBA) strongly preferred.
• Preferred: BLS upon hire; PALS and ACLS within six months of hire.

Compensation. $120,000 - $165,000 per year
