Job Description

Manage the functions responsible for creating and maintaining the product lifecycle for the hardware supply chain. Works closely with design engineering and supply chain peers to develop and maintain robust and sustainable manufacturing processes to deliver quality products to the customer.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $146,300 to $306,400 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle''s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

  8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

Job Description:

  • Own the global FRU and Spares planning strategy and operating model.
  • Lead global demand, supply, and inventory planning for service parts.
  • Establish forecasting methodologies for intermittent and failure-driven demand.
  • Integrate installed base, consumption, AFR, MTBF, returns, and reliability data into planning.
  • Define inventory, safety-stock, and service-level strategies.
  • Optimize inventory across central, regional, and local stocking locations.
  • Segment planning strategies by part criticality, value, and supply risk.
  • Establish differentiated strategies for high-cost and constrained FRUs.
  • Govern FRU calculation models, planning assumptions, and parameters.
  • Identify shortages, excess inventory, and supply risks early.
  • Lead recovery and prioritization strategies for constrained materials.
  • Partner with Procurement on supplier capacity, lead times, and commitments.
  • Ensure critical FRUs are positioned at the right locations to support service requirements.
  • Drive inventory transfers and replenishment strategies across the global network.
  • Integrate repair, refurbishment, and recovered inventory into supply plans.
  • Balance new-buy and repair strategies to improve availability and asset utilization.
  • Own FRU and Spares inventory investment planning and financial governance.
  • Align forecast, budget, and purchasing requirements.
  • Develop executive recommendations on service, inventory, cost, and risk tradeoffs.
  • Establish a single source of truth for Spares planning data.
  • Improve planning systems, automation, master data, and analytical capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business, Analytics, or related field.
  • 15+ years of progressive supply chain, planning, or operations experience.
  • 7+ years of experience leading planning or supply-chain organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex global planning functions.
  • Deep experience with FRUs, service spares, repairable inventory, or aftermarket supply chains.
  • Strong expertise in demand, supply, and inventory planning.
  • Experience with intermittent and failure-driven demand.
  • Strong understanding of AFR, MTBF, reliability, and installed-base-driven planning.
  • Experience managing significant inventory investments and budgets.
  • Experience with global inventory, service, and distribution networks.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively with incomplete or ambiguous data.
