The posted salary range reflects the range the Company reasonably expects to pay for this position. Position Summary:
The Director of Region Supply Chain Logistics will be responsible for the overall leadership of Shipping, Transportation, and Distribution operations and methodology within the Alburtis Next Generation DC and the service area that Alburtis is sourced to cover. The Director will be ensuring cost, safety, service and regulatory standards are met. The incumbent will work collectively to identify, develop and assist in implementation of cost savings opportunities/initiatives while maintaining high service, safety and response level to support the US business goals for all brands.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Leads all shipping and transportation operations for the Alburtis Next Generation DC for a salaried team of 12+ leaders and 150+ warehouse associates that cover operations each day all year long.
- Ability to lead a highly complex DC operation that has over 900 customers, 120+ daily OTR outbound deliveries that equate to approximately 5 million units/week. Many of these customers are direct store deliveries in addition to key internal sales center customers.
- Partners with a dedicated 3PL transport vendor to execute and optimize transportation services for the Alburtis service area including all outbound/inbound modes of transportation maximizing efficiencies
