    Job Description:

    Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes. The process of the planned separation is anticipated to be completed within 18 to 24 months, subject to legal requirements, including consultation with works councils and other employee representative bodies, as may be required, regulatory approvals and other customary conditions and approvals. Should you accept this position, it is anticipated that, following conclusion of the transaction, you would be an employee of DePuy Synthes and your employment would be governed by DePuy Synthes employment processes, programs, policies, and benefit plans. In that case, details of any planned changes would be provided to you by DePuy Synthes at an appropriate time and subject to any necessary consultation processes.

    DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Director, Talent Solutions, located in Bogotá, Colombia.

    The Director, Talent Solutions is a key leadership role within Global Services HR, focused on delivering high-quality, efficient, and compliant talent-related processes across the employee lifecycle. This role is accountable for executing and continuously improving core Talent Solutions services, ensuring alignment with business needs and enterprise standards. The role offers the opportunity to shape scalable HR operations, lead a diverse team, and drive operational excellence across global markets.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead the execution of Talent Solutions services, ensuring consistent, efficient delivery aligned with global HR strategies and local requirements

    • Direct and develop a team, providing coaching, performance management, and professional development

    • Oversee HR operational processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transitions, employee data management, and compliance

    • Partner with HR and business leaders to ensure Talent Solutions processes, systems, and tools effectively support organizational needs

    • Establish and drive process improvements, standardization, and automation to enhance service quality and efficiency

    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, internal policies, and data governance standards across all Talent Solutions activities

    • Monitor performance metrics, identify trends, and implement solutions to improve service delivery and stakeholder satisfaction

    • Manage operational aspects of the function, including budget, workforce planning, and vendor relationships

    • Lead change initiatives and communications related to HR systems, tools, and process updates

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Operations, or a related field is required.

    • Master's degree or MBA is preferred.

    Experience and Skills:

    Required:

    • 10-12 years of Human Resources experience, with significant exposure to HR operations or shared services environments

    • Demonstrated experience leading teams, including managers, in a matrixed global organization

    • Strong expertise in HR operational processes, service delivery models, and continuous improvement methodologies

    • Proven ability to manage complex HR programs and implement scalable processes and solutions

    • Experience working with HR systems and data, with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and reporting

    • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills

    • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization

    Preferred:

    • Experience in a global shared services or Global Services HR environment

    • Knowledge of Latin America labor regulations and employment practice

    • Experience supporting talent lifecycle processes such as onboarding, transitions, and exit management

    • Familiarity with process improvement frameworks (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)

    • Experience leading transformation or system implementation initiatives

    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment with competing priorities

    Other:

    • Languages: English and Spanish fluency are required.

    • Travel: Up to 10-20% domestic and/or international travel may be required.

    • Certifications: HR certification (e.g., SHRM, HRCI) preferred.
