Summary
Reporting to the VP, Development, the Director of Transformational Giving's primary purpose is to serve as a major gifts officer (maintaining a portfolio of individuals, corporations, and foundations as appropriate) and to attain significant philanthropic resources on behalf of Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). Works closely with VP of Development on prospects assigned to VP and SVP. Additionally, the Director will participate in strategies and securing capital and programmatic funds for special initiatives.
Internal title: Lead, Development; working title: Director, Transformational Giving
Job Duties
Fundraising focus on transformational level gives ($10M+). The expectation will be that with a mature portfolio, this position will solicit $6M per year, secure $3M per year.
