Join Norman Regional Health System, an independent and multi-campus system, as their next Director of Womens Services in Norman, Oklahoma!

The Position

  • A Director of Womens Services is needed to provide strategic and operational leadership for the Women's & Children's inpatient service line, overseeing Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, NICU, Newborn Transition, Women's Services, OB/GYN surgical patients, and medical-surgical overflow while ensuring exceptional clinical quality and patient outcomes.
  • The Director will lead the continued transformation of the inpatient division by driving change management initiatives, strengthening collaboration across the health system, and creating a more integrated care model that connects inpatient services with outpatient women's health clinics and physician practices.
  • Mentor and develop emerging leaders by providing coaching, succession planning, and professional development for frontline managers, building leadership capabilities that support long-term departmental growth and operational excellence.
  • Partner closely with physicians, executive leadership, and community providers to improve care coordination, strengthen provider relationships, enhance patient access, and support strategic initiatives focused on increasing deliveries, expanding OB/GYN surgical volumes, and growing women's health services.
  • The Director will oversee a multidisciplinary team of approximately 200 FTEs, fostering a highly visible, collaborative leadership presence that promotes employee engagement, accountability, and a culture centered on clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
  • Drive operational performance through improved patient flow, capacity management, interdisciplinary collaboration, and resource utilization, ensuring the department can effectively respond to changing patient volumes and organizational priorities.
  • This leader will support the health system's long-term growth strategy by partnering with outpatient leaders to create a seamless continuum of care, streamline physician alignment, and strengthen relationships with community partners that expand access to women's health services throughout the region.
  • Serve as an influential leader who embraces innovation, sees the broader organizational picture, and inspires teams through collaboration, transparency, and a commitment to advancing the future of Women's & Children's Services.

Requirements

  • BSN is required.
  • Master's degree in a related field, or active enrollment in a related master's program, is required.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a related setting, including a minimum of three years of leadership experience, is required.
