- Hackensack Meridian Mountainside Medical Center is an 820,000-square-foot facility that offers the latest medical programs, cutting-edge technology, and patient-focused care that includes 365 beds, 1,200+ employees and a 27-bed Emergency Room/Fast Track Unit.
Responsibilities:
- The Dishroom Rep provides a clean and safe kitchen area for employees. Washes and cleans tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment.
- Assumes 100% responsibility for the cleanliness of dishware.
- Loads, runs, and unloads the dish machine.
- Keeps the dish machine clean and reports any functional or mechanical problems to the kitchen manager immediately.
- Monitors dish machine water temperature and chemical levels to ensure a sanitary wash cycle.
- Washes and stores all tableware and kitchenware.
- Bags and hauls kitchen trash to the dumpster.
- Completes opening and closing checklists.
- Maintains adequate levels of clean tableware, dish detergents, and cleaning supplies.
- Cleans food preparation and production areas as required.
- Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.
- Attends all allergy and foodborne illness in-service training.
- Complies with all Sodexo HACCP policies and procedures.
- Reports all accidents and injuries on time.
- Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
- Participates in regular safety meetings, safety training, and hazard assessments.
Qualifications:
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years of related experience.
Rate of pay is determined based on experience and education, and may include other pay components such as differentials and call pay based on role.
