Dishwasher / Cleaning

Since 1975, El Arroyo has been serving up Tex-Mex with a side of laughs on our famous marquee sign that stands on the corner of West 5th and Campbell in Austin, Texas.

The ideal candidate takes pride in keeping a clean and organized workspace, works efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and understands the importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep the dishwashing station clean, organized, and properly stocked.
• Sweep, mop, and maintain clean kitchen and restaurant floors.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, tables, countertops, and other restaurant areas.
• Remove trash and maintain proper disposal of waste.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures.
• Assist with general cleaning and other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant or cleaning experience preferred, but not required.
• Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
