What You’ll DoAs a Dishwasher at Batbox, you’ll keep things moving behind the scenes and help set the stage for every guest to have a legendary experience. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness help fuel the entire team. Some of your responsibilities include:
- Operate dish machines and equipment safely and confidently
- Wash, sanitize, and organize all dishware, flatware, cookware, and glassware
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
- Keep floors, drains, and mats clean, and take charge of trash removal throughout the shift
- Clean and maintain kitchen areas including walls, storage spaces, and dish stations to keep everything running smoothly.
- Assist with line maintenance and help prep items or support event food prep as needed.
- Step in wherever you’re needed - whether it’s sweeping the line, organizing back-of-house storage, or supporting other back-of-house team members
What We’re Looking For
- A team-first attitude and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
- Ability to follow safety, sanitation, and cleaning procedures 100% of the time
- Stamina to stand, lift, and move throughout your shift - this is a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- A reliable, positive work ethic and commitment to getting the job done right
- Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is a plus, but not required
- You are at least 18 years old
What to Expect
- Be on your feet for 100% of your shift - standing, and moving throughout the back-of-house
- Work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs
- Navigate a fast-paced, high-energy environment where noise and distractions are common
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds
- Reach, bend, stoop, stretch, mop, sweep and wipe frequently
