Emish Restaurant is a Ukrainian and European restaurant located in Federal Way, WA. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and responsible Dishwasher to join our kitchen team and help maintain clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen operations.The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, able to work efficiently under pressure, and willing to support the kitchen team wherever needed.What You'll DoWash and sanitize dishes, plates, glasses, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipmentOperate the commercial dishwasher and follow proper proceduresProperly scrape, wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes and kitchen itemsPut clean dishes, equipment, and utensils in their designated placesKeep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and free of clutterMaintain a steady flow of clean dishes during busy restaurant serviceAssist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and preparation tasks when neededClean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, sinks, and equipment as assignedRemove garbage and recycling according to restaurant proceduresKeep garbage and food waste areas clean and organizedFollow proper food safety, sanitation, and chemical handling proceduresUse cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctlyHelp maintain a safe and sanitary kitchen environmentAssist cooks and other kitchen staff during busy periodsComplete opening and closing cleaning duties as assignedFollow instructions from the Head Chef, Sous Chef, and kitchen supervisorsMaintain a professional, respectful, and team-oriented attitudeWork Schedule: Full-time or part-time; schedule will be discussed during the interview.
