Upshift is hiring Dishwashers and Kitchen Helpers for the dining halls of Ann Arbor's biggest university and for restaurant, hotel and event kitchens across Ann Arbor. You are a W-2 employee of Upshift; we schedule you on the shifts you choose.
About the job
- Run the dish machine, hand-wash pots and pans, keep dishes, utensils and glassware flowing back to the line.
- Kitchen porter work: take out trash, sweep and mop, restock stations, break down boxes.
- Help set up and reset dining rooms and serving lines.
- Shifts available now — breakfast, lunch and dinner, done by about 9 pm; weekends available. Typical shift 4–8 hours.

Pay and benefits
- $16.00 per hour, shown on every shift before you claim it.

Requirements
- No experience required — we show you the station.
- 18 or older, with a smartphone.
- Able to stand for a full shift and lift up to 50 lb.
- Reliable transportation to campus recommended.
