Job Summary:
Hemingway's Tavern is seeking fun, dedicated, dependable and high-energy individuals to join our team in our Dish position! Our Dish position exists to ensure our guests receive the best quality experience during their visit. The dishwashing department is the backbone of the kitchen, the bar, and the serving staff, supporting everyone with clean dishes, pots, glasses, silverware and more!
The Job:
Cleaning dishes, utensils, glassware, pots and pans and cooking equipment
Keep the dish area clean and organized ex. Sweeping, mopping, washing worktables, walls and equipment
Restock cook line, dining room and bar areas with clean dishes, glasses and silverware
Remove trash and place in designated containers, includes breaking down boxes
Maintain chemical levels of dish machine
Maintain organization of dishes to company standards
Helping fellow Team Members when appropriate
Able to walk or stand 100% (up to 8 hours) of shift, able to carry and safely maneuver up to 50 lbs.
