What You'll Do
- Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen equipment using commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain a constant supply of clean dishes and utensils for the kitchen and dining room.
- Keep the dish area clean, organized, and sanitary throughout your shift.
- Empty trash and recycling as needed.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors to maintain a safe work environment.
- Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries when needed.
- Help stock kitchen supplies and storage areas.
- Support cooks and chefs with basic cleaning and kitchen tasks.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health department regulations.
- Complete opening, running, and closing cleaning responsibilities.
- Work closely with the culinary team to keep service running efficiently.
What We're Looking For
- Previous restaurant experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Ability to stay organized in a fast-paced kitchen.
- Team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to follow cleaning, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and Cardinals game days.
Preferred Qualifications
- Dishwasher or kitchen utility experience
- Restaurant or hospitality experience
- Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Interest in learning prep or line cook responsibilities
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk throughout your shift.
- Frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Bend, squat, reach, and move safely in a busy kitchen.
- Work around hot water, cleaning chemicals, and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Maintain a fast pace during busy meal periods.
