We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team! The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and possess a strong work ethic.
**Base pay plus tips!**
Responsibilities:
- Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
- Organize and maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Perform additional cleaning duties as requested
- Assist in food preparation such as chopping vegetables, slicing meats, and assembling dishes
- Follow safety and sanitation procedures
- Follow recipes and portion control
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Chef
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Restaurant or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to obtain and maintain a food handler certification card
- Previous experience as a dishwasher and/or prep cook is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
