Job Description: Dishwasher

Location: Virginia Beach, VA, 23451

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. The Dishwasher will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc. in the kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities:

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, or pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
• Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
• Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean and orderly condition.
• Clean food preparation areas, facilities, or equipment.
• Sweep or scrub floors.
• Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, refrigerators, or salad bars.
• Assist cooks and kitchen staff with various tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience as a dishwasher or in a similar role preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
