Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dispatcher to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of freight and managing fleet operations. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Familiarity with logistics software and transportation planning is essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily dispatch operations, ensuring timely delivery of freight and efficient routing of vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with drivers and clients to provide updates and resolve issues
• Perform data entry tasks related to shipment management, fleet management, and inventory control
• Collaborate with 3PL providers to ensure seamless logistics operations
• Monitor fleet performance and address any operational challenges that arise during transit
• Collaborate with team members to optimize routes and improve overall efficiency with the supply chain.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies throughout the dispatch process.

Experience:

• 1 Year of Dispatching (preferred)
• Experience in logistics or dispatching, with a solid understanding of fleet management principles is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with freight operations and transportation management systems
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) to effectively interact with drivers and clients
• Proficient in data entry with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in records.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high levels of organization.
