Location: Roanoke, TX

Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Security Officer for a logistics-focused site in Roanoke, TX. This position requires strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-traffic logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and secure facility operations, ensuring safety protocols and security procedures are consistently followed
• Work collaboratively with logistics managers and on-site leadership to maintain efficient and compliant processes
• Conduct trailer audits, including verification, logging, and inspection of inbound and outbound shipments
• Support international load intake processes and ensure proper documentation is completed
• Maintain accurate records using logistics systems and log sheets
• Create and send detailed, professional reports and emails outlining daily activities, incidents, and key metrics
• Communicate effectively with clients, truck drivers, and internal staff in a professional and courteous manner
• Identify and resolve issues proactively using sound judgment and problem-solving skills

Required Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license
• Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation, logistics, or storage security
• Strong understanding of logistics operations and security protocols
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft detailed and professional emails
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Physical Requirements

• Logistics and distribution facility
• Frequent interaction with transportation personnel and operations teams
• Exposure to varying noise levels and outdoor conditions
