    Description

    Job Summary

    The Distribution Center Supervisor is responsible for supervising warehouse and inventory operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient receiving, storage, and shipping activities. This role leads warehouse staff, oversees daily operational performance, maintains inventory accuracy, enforces safety standards, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to improve distribution center efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and lead warehouse employees to ensure efficient daily operations.
    • Coach, train, and develop team members while managing performance and attendance.
    • Monitor productivity, inventory accuracy, safety, and service-level performance.
    • Plan and optimize warehouse layouts, workflows, and material handling processes.
    • Oversee inventory control, cycle counts, discrepancy investigations, and corrective actions.
    • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and operational performance.
    • Develop work schedules and staffing plans to meet operational requirements.
    • Analyze operational reports and implement corrective actions where needed.
    • Make operational decisions related to staffing, workflow, inventory, and service levels.
    • Support hiring, employee development, and performance management.
    • Enforce company policies, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve warehouse operations.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field with 7+ years of experience, including leadership responsibility, or 10+ years of relevant experience with leadership responsibility.
    • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and ERP systems.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
    • Ability to interpret and apply company policies and safety procedures.
    • Proven leadership, team management, and employee development skills.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Supervisory experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
    • Experience with SAP ERP and warehouse management systems.
    • Experience implementing Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

    • Up to 10%.
