Distribution & Logistics Associate – Recycling Operations
Irving / DFW Airport Area, TX | 2 PM–10 PM | 5-Day Workweek
$21/hour | Full-Time | Contract to Hire
Imprimis Group / IGLogistix is partnering with an established logistics operation near DFW Airport to hire dependable, hardworking individuals for its warehouse and recycling operations team.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a team and keeping warehouse operations moving. We're looking for individuals with warehouse, logistics, material handling, distribution or recycling experience who take safety seriously and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
SCHEDULE & PAY:
- Shift: 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.
- Five-day workweek.
- Pay: $21/hour, based on position and experience.
- Full-time opportunity in the DFW Airport area – must pass background check and possess a valid Texas driver’s license.
JOB DUTIES:
- Receive, sort, separate and process recyclable materials, including cardboard, paper, plastics and metals.
- Move materials between receiving, sorting, processing and storage areas.
- Load and unload trucks and assist with daily warehouse operations.
- Prepare, organize and stage materials for processing and shipment.
- Operate warehouse and material-handling equipment following proper training.
- Assist with recycling equipment, including balers, as assigned and trained.
- Use handheld scanners and basic tracking systems to record materials and inventory.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain clean, organized work areas.
- Work with the team to meet daily production and operational goals.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Previous warehouse, logistics, distribution, recycling or material-handling experience.
- Comfortable with physically active work, including lifting, moving and sorting materials.
- Ability to lift and move up to 75 lbs. as required.
- Willingness to learn equipment and follow safety procedures.
- Basic computer or handheld scanner experience helpful.
- Dependable attendance and ability to work the assigned schedule.
- Valid Texas driver's license required (TSA requirement and potential driving a box truck).
- Ability to successfully complete required background screening and airport access requirements.
- High school diploma or GED.
