Position Summary

Radwell International is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Distribution Purchasing Coordinator to join our Purchasing team. This position is responsible for executing daily purchasing activities, managing vendor communications, ensuring accurate and timely order processing, and supporting customer fulfillment requirements.

What You Will Do

Purchasing & Vendor Management

• Generate purchase orders for new products using Radwell''s purchasing systems.
• Assign approved vendors and pricing to sales orders.
• Process daily purchase orders, drop shipments, and rush orders.
• Confirm purchase orders by verifying pricing, lead times, and part numbers.
• Follow up on unconfirmed orders to ensure prompt supplier response and order fulfillment.
• Resolve discrepancies involving pricing, part numbers, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Update purchase orders and sales orders as needed to ensure accuracy.
• Proactively place orders through vendor portals and websites.
• Assist with database maintenance and purchasing system updates.

Customer & Internal Support

• Communicate with suppliers regarding order status, delivery commitments, and product availability.
• Support customer expedite requests by working directly with vendors and internal teams.
• Partner with the Expediting Team to help ensure customer delivery expectations are met or exceeded.
• Respond professionally and promptly to purchasing inquiries by phone, email, and other communication channels.

Administrative Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation.
• Update daily purchase order confirmation tracking spreadsheets.
• Assist with departmental process improvements and special projects.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate''s Degree preferred; Bachelor''s Degree is a plus
• One to three years of experience in purchasing, procurement, customer service, supply chain, or a related field preferred
• Industrial, manufacturing, technical product, or distribution experience is a plus

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour

The pay range reflects the anticipated compensation for this position. Individual compensation is determined based on factors including skills, experience, education, training, and work location.
