Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and support a growing outside sales organization. This senior-level role will serve as a key liaison between field sales representatives, leadership, and internal teams, ensuring the sales team has the resources, tools, training, and operational support needed to achieve business goals.
 
The ideal candidate brings strong B2B sales or sales operations experience, proven leadership skills, and a collaborative, growth-oriented approach.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and support outside sales representatives
• Monitor field sales activity, customer visits, territory coverage, and performance
• Review weekly sales reports, travel logs, call reports, and showroom activity
• Oversee sales expenses and ensure compliance with company policies
• Maintain and improve sales policies, procedures, and best practices
• Manage accurate dealer, retail account, promotion, and program records
• Support business development and identify new market opportunities
• Utilize CRM and field sales tools to improve pipeline visibility and productivity
• Implement new sales technologies and train team members on effective usage
• Prepare sales activity and performance reports for senior leadership
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, and other internal teams

 
Qualifications

• 8 to 10+ years of B2B sales, sales operations, or sales leadership experience
• Proven experience leading, coaching, or supporting outside sales teams
• Strong sales operations, reporting, and performance management experience
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with CRM systems and sales enablement technology
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with a collaborative and accountable management style
• Strategic mindset with a focus on business growth and continuous improvement

 
Preferred Experience

• Appliance distribution or retail appliance sales experience
• Dealer or distributor network experience
• Salesforce or similar CRM experience
• Field sales, territory mapping, and activity tracking tools
• Business development and market expansion experience
