Distribution System Dispatcher

Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is seeking a Distribution System Dispatcher to work in the Fort Wayne IN. area. This is an onsite position responsible for monitoring the electric distribution system, tracking field crews, dispatching personnel during outages and emergencies, and coordinating the safe restoration of power.

This position is responsible for assisting with the safe and reliable operation of the electric distribution system. Job responsibilities include:

• Tracking field crews and distribution system work
• Dispatching service personnel during outages and emergencies
• Operating company communication equipment
• Coordinating the safe restoration of power
• Authorizing the energizing and restoration of distribution facilities
• Maintaining accurate outage and system records
• Tracking abnormal or defective equipment
• Following company safety, health, and operating procedures
• Communicating and coordinating multiple activities during system emergencies

This position requires the ability to remain calm under pressure, make critical decisions, communicate effectively, and manage multiple situations at the same time.
