The Opportunity
As District Manager, you will lead three high-volume Ben & Jerry's shops in Hoboken, Ridgewood, and Riverwalk, NJ. This is a true multi-unit operations role where you will manage through managers, own results across locations, and be directly responsible for the performance of your district.

What You'll Do
- Own daily operations across three locations, including staffing, scheduling, training, and execution to brand standards.
- Coach and develop 25–40 team members, including shift leads and managers, to build a strong bench and reduce turnover.
- Run the EOS cadence for your shops, including Level 10 meetings, Rocks, and Scorecards, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
- Be a hands-on leader during peak periods, modeling great guest service, pace, and problem-solving on the floor.
- Maintain brand standards for guest experience, food safety, cleanliness, and equipment care across all locations.
- Oversee cake orders, catering, and local events from start to finish, ensuring accurate fulfillment and great customer experiences.
- Manage inventory, labor costs, payroll accuracy, and expense control to deliver strong unit-level economics.
- Review performance data regularly, identify trends and issues, and present clear solutions and action plans to leadership.
What Success Looks Like
- Within 3–6 months, all three locations are consistently staffed to plan, with managers and shift leads confidently running shifts to standard.
- Labor, food cost, and other key controllables are on or ahead of target, with clear systems in place to sustain results.
- Guest experience scores, cleanliness standards, and food safety metrics are consistently strong across the district.
- Cake, catering, and event business is well-organized, growing, and generating positive feedback from customers and community partners.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of multi-unit leadership in food service, hospitality, or retail, managing multiple locations at the same time.
- Experience leading through managers, not just frontline teams, with a track record of developing people and building strong cultures.
- Proven ownership of labor, food cost, and P&L at the multi-unit level, with comfort using data to drive decisions.
- Familiarity with EOS is a plus; at minimum, a genuine commitment to learning and running the EOS system from day one.
Compensation and Benefits
- $70,000–$75,000 base salary, plus performance bonuses tied to shop results and operational goals.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance.
- Full-time role, approximately 52 hours per week, with nights, weekends, and holidays required.
- Travel between Hoboken, Ridgewood, and Riverwalk with mileage reimbursement between locations.
