Job Summary

Under the direction of the Director of Special Education, the District Psychologist - Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) provides comprehensive school psychology and behavior-analytic services to support the academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and educational needs of students. The position conducts psychoeducational and behavioral assessments; develops and monitors evidence-based interventions and behavior support plans; provides consultation and technical assistance to staff and families; participates in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and other student support plans; provides counseling and educationally related mental health services as assigned; and collaborates with students, families, educators, administrators, and other service providers to promote positive student outcomes. The District Psychologist - BCBA provides services across general education and special education settings and supports District and school-site efforts related to positive behavioral interventions, crisis response, student support, and evidence-based practices.

Pupil Personnel Services/Psychologist Credential is required and must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst Desirable Qualifications include: Experience with testing programs and their analysis Master s Degree Regular teaching credential Successful full-time teaching, preferably at several levels Bilingual/Spanish Ability

In addition to the EdJoin application, a letter of intent, a minimum of 3 letters of recommendation and a resume are required.

Employees working a 90+% assignment are required to take at least single coverage health insurance with the Azusa Unified School District or provide proof of coverage through another group plan.
