Description

Nucor Rebar Fabrication is seeking a District Sales Manager for their Portland, OR location to lead regional sales and marketing efforts while expanding customer relationships across the Oregon market. The ideal candidate will have extensive sales and business acumen, proven leadership with strong communication skills, and the ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Duties
Act as the primary regional sales representative to canvas, cold-call, and prospect new business while managing customer relations.
Quote, secure business, and establish annual sales plans in collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager.
Partner with Inside Sales and Estimating to complete tasks, serve as an operational liaison, and deliver commercial updates.
Drive change, solve problems proactively, and exceed revenue, shipment, and profitability goals.

Requirements & Qualifications
Excellent oral and written communication skills to deliver presentations, lead meetings, and negotiate deals.
Strong business acumen, analytical decision-making, and understanding of commercial profitability.
Proven leadership, interpersonal skills, and the willingness to drive organizational change.
Strong customer service, market prospecting, and consultative relationship-building skills.
Commitment to safety, quality, team development, and basic knowledge of contracts and standard business practices.
Ability to travel extensively throughout the region and work hours beyond the normal business day.
