Summary:
The DLX Project Management Apprentice will assist with managing and coordinating key digital transformation initiatives. Responsibilities include project coordination, business analysis, data management, technology adoption, and documentation. Through hands-on involvement in transformative projects like Salesforce Education Cloud implementation and change management strategies, the apprentice will gain valuable experience in project management and digital innovation.
Job Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to track and manage timelines, resources, and deliverables for key DLX initiatives.
Support the evaluation of current processes and recommend improvements to align with institutional goals.
Compile, analyze, and present data related to project outcomes and student experiences.
Facilitate workshops and training sessions to encourage staff adoption of digital tools, such as Salesforce and AI-based learning systems.
Maintain accurate project records, create user guides, and generate status reports for leadership.
Attend periodic staff meetings.
Must sign a confidentiality agreement.
University computer and system access (e.g., Salesforce, Colleague).
Minimum Qualifications:
Influence: Ready to learn how to challenge the status quo with soft skills. Not intimated to influence those of higher authority or age.
Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
Familiarity with IT processes such as SDLC Software Development Life Cycle
Preferred Qualifications:
Enrolled in a program such as Business Administration, Information Systems, Project Management, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
Completion of courses in project management, data analytics, or communication focused areas.
Proficiency in tools like Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and project management software such as Asana.
Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Trello, Jira).
