DMS LOG | Warehouse Clerk | Operations

DMS Logistics is a Brazilian multinational freight forwarder with more than 30 years of experience in international trade. The Operations department is responsible for ensuring proper shipment logistics planning, closely monitoring cargo pickup, import and export operations, and verifying documentation in each country.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Updated Forklift Operator Course with a valid certificate.
• Weekend AOG coverage schedule, as aligned with the manager.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities and Assignments

• Ensure inventory accuracy for items or locations being picked, packed, palletized, shipped out, or put away.
• Break down the weekly DC truck into individual orders.
• Prepare deliveries.
• Ensure that all pallets and items are clearly and accurately labeled, whether outbound to the customer or returning to a bin location.
• Safely and properly load and unload customer vehicles and the delivery truck using a forklift.
• Securely build and wrap pallets in a timely manner in preparation for deliveries.
• Complete inventory related reports, such as breakage and damage lists.
• Assist with loading and unloading customer orders by hand when not using a forklift.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Meet scheduled attendance requirements and work extended hours when necessary to achieve goals.
• Operate scanner equipment and inventory management tools, including IT systems.
