    We are currently seeking an experienced Dog Trainer to join our team! We are looking for an individual that can demonstrate deep knowledge of dog breeds, behaviors, training tactics, and a successful portfolio. This role will challenge you to not only lead training classes but also work one on one with our clients to build strong client relationships!

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct individual and group dog training classes
    • Work with dogs of all breeds and sizes on obedience and behavior modification
    • Educate pet parents on proper training techniques and dog behavior
    • Coach and educate our internal team on dog behavior and safe handling practices
    • Travel to client homes and designated training locations
    • Provide exceptional customer service with clear, positive communication
    • Maintain accurate training records and progress updates
    Requirements:

    Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT) or equivalent certification required
    Minimum 2+ years professional dog training experience
    Solid knowledge of canine behavior and behavior modification techniques
    Comfortable working with dogs of all temperaments
    Ability to manage both private lessons and group classes
    Reliable, insured vehicle — this is an on-the-road position
    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    Willingness to work weekends

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
    • Dog Training Certification
    • Effectively Communicates
    Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
