• Facility: Morton Plant Hospital - Clearwater, FL
• Schedule: Full Time
• Shift: 7:00AM - 5:00PM
• Weekend Work: Occasional
• On Call: No

Responsibilities:

• Performs and participates in simulation dose computations, isodose plans, immobilization and other aspects of treatment planning for patients receiving external beam radiation therapy.
• Enters dosimetry charges into the system and all treatment calculations into the treatment chart.
• Documents patient information, prepares treatment parameters, and validates treatment records.
• Ensures accurate charges for treatment planning and physics services, enters treatment calculations into the billing system.
• Uses patient identifiers, standard safety precautions, and monitors compliance with quality assurance and regulatory requirements.

Required Licensure/Certification:

• CMD (Certified Medical Dosimetrist)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

Required Education:

• Graduate of a Medical Dosimetry Program

Required Experience:

• 6 months of Dosimetry

Preferred Experience:

• 3 years of Cancer Services
• 3 years Radiation
