DOT Safety Supervisor

• Driver Coaching & Development –Mentor and guide drivers through safety assessments, evaluations, and targeted improvement plans.
• Incident Investigations – Conduct thorough investigations and detailed reporting for accidents, injuries, and safety incidents.
• SafetyEngagement & Programs – Promote driver engagement through proactive safety initiatives, appreciation activities, and incentive programs.
• RegulatoryCompliance – Administer DOT licensing, examinations, and compliance documentation to ensure full regulatory adherence.
• Drug & Alcohol ProgramOversight – Manage the DOT Drug and Alcohol program, ensuring compliance with all testing requirements.
• Support Hiring & Training – Assist in driver hiring, training, onboarding, and road testing to ensure competency and adherence to safety policies.
• CommunitySafety Representation – Serve as a company liaison, promoting the safety of Benore’s driving operations within the community.
• Safety Communications –Develop and deliver impactful safety messages, policies, and training materials in collaboration with management.
• Audit & Documentation Management – Assist in the administration of vehicle registrations, permits, and internal/external safety audits.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; Associate’s degree or relevant experience considered.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation safety administration with knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Technical Skills:
• • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, TMW, and telematics systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Leadership & OrganizationalSkills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, oversee compliance initiatives, and promote a culture of safety.
